On May 29, 2025, within the framework of the “Accessible Boat Tourism” project CFCU/MNE/283, funded by EU, a meeting was held between the project partners: the Montenegrin Employers Federation, as the lead partner, and the National Chamber of Crafts, along with a representative from MontAbility, the first and only travel agency in Montenegro dedicated to persons with disabilities. The meeting continued with a roundtable discussion with artisans from the Shkodër region, where their thoughts, needs, and suggestions regarding accessibility were shared, with the aim of ensuring the full inclusion of tourists with disabilities in the social and tourist life of the area. The day's activities concluded with a field visit to the area around Lake Shkodër, where participants assessed whether the location meets the necessary accessibility standards for people with disabilities.
