At the beginning of October, the “German Bread Days” took place—an important event made possible through the close partnership between HWK Koblenz, the National Chamber of Crafts of Albania (DHKZ), Alta Academy, the Albanian Bread, Pastry and Dough Association, as well as the Chamber of Prizren.
This strong collaboration between professional associations and chambers created a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, skills development, and the promotion of German baking traditions.
The “German Bread Days” not only strengthened professional ties among the three countries, but also contributed to building new bridges of cooperation, highlighting the importance of solid partnerships in fostering development and artisanal craftsmanship.
During the two-day activity, German master bakers held practical workshops for bakers and pastry chefs from Albania and Kosovo. They shared their expertise on traditional German baking techniques, recipes, and the high standards that define the German baking and pastry craft.
The highlight of the event was the street festival on October 3rd, marking the official opening of the German Culture Week. Visitors were invited to enjoy freshly baked German breads prepared by the master bakers and to explore the richness and traditions of German bread culture.
