An official ceremony took place in the city of Kukës as part of the project funded by the Canadian Embassy, “ Economic Empowerment of Craftsmen and Craftswomen in Albania through Certification and Professional Training".

The Secretary General of the National Chamber of Crafts, Mr. Koli Sinjari, presented an overview of the project’s progress, emphasizing the institution’s continuous commitment to supporting artisans and advancing the development of the crafts sector.

The event also featured speeches by representatives of the Canadian Embassy, the President of the Chamber of Prizren, as well as the participating artisans, who shared their challenges and experiences while expressing their appreciation for the support and opportunities created through this project.

This event marks an important step toward promoting local economic development, preserving our cultural heritage through traditional crafts, and fostering the formalization of this sector.
