The National Chamber of Crafts participated in the meeting organized by the Ministry of Education and Sports as part of the process to align Albanian legislation with Directive 2005/36/EC on the recognition of professional qualifications.

The meeting was held to present the final draft of the National Action Plan on Transparency and Proportionality of Criteria for Regulated Professions, a key instrument for implementing Article 59 of the Directive and fulfilling obligations under Chapter 3, “Right of Establishment and Freedom to Provide Services.”

The Chamber highlighted the need for a proportional and differentiated regulatory approach for the crafts sector, emphasizing professional experience and practical skills as key elements for access to craft professions.

Participation represents an important contribution to reforming the regulatory framework and advancing standards for regulated professions in Albania.
