As part of the National Chamber of Crafts’ initiative on the mandatory certification with the “Master Craftsman” title, the State Labour and Social Services Inspectorate is conducting advisory and information visits to businesses operating in the beauty, hairdressing and cosmetics sector.

The visits aim to inform businesses about legal requirements for practising a craft activity, professional qualifications, occupational health and safety, and registration with the National Chamber of Crafts.

The “Master Craftsman” title represents an important step towards the professionalization, standardization and improvement of service quality in the sector.
